About Me

I received a B.A. in Philosophy and Korean Literature in Classical Chinese, and an M.A. in Philosophy, both from Sungkyunkwan University. I’m most interested in epistemology and the philosophy of language — especially the epistemology of understanding and semantic inferentialism — and I try to apply these to AI. In the history of philosophy I’m also drawn to Skepticism and Neo-Confucianism. Outside philosophy, I enjoy reading and memorizing 18th-century Korean literature and Song dynasty literature. I love listening to contemporary jazz, 80s heavy metal, and Korean traditional music. I play Guitar/Piri (a Korean traditional instrument) if there is time left.
